May the 4th be with us!

I know it is early, but does anyone else see the irony in our State "opening" back up on Sunday May 3rd?

We are coming to you, yet again, with information regarding re-opening and the Stay at Home Order. As you all are aware the Governor extended this date to midnight on May 3, 2020.

Therefore, we plan to re-open officially on May 4, 2020. We will accommodate clients on the order the appointments are on the schedule. Some, I have already spoken with , if you already have an appointment scheduled in the first 2 weeks of May, I will not be contacting you.

I ask for your patience during this time. I will do my best to get everyone called in timely fashion. However, as we all were "informed" yesterday afternoon of the "Phases" in which States are to re-open, things are ever-changing. We only get the news as you do. We are trying to stay as informed as possible without losing our minds. It is a balance after-all to ensure a healthy dose of positivity remains in your day...I tend to like having the scale tip every so slightly in that direction.

I just want to reiterate how lovely everyone has been though. We are fortunate enough to live in a community that your neighbor cares. I think it is important to point out that while during the shutdown we are being supportive of one another, that we remind ourselves of that on a daily basis as we re-establish getting back into the swing of things. We are eager to get back, but just as lots of people have been taking breaks, we tend to get a little "rusty". We may find that patience is lacking in the world scale, so let's continue to be kind.

I think we are all finding that this time is allowing us to "step it up" in terms of selves, family and community. It has been overall a wonderful time of reconnection. Have you checked things off your to-do list? Have you read more books? Have you had more real conversations? Are you learning anything new? What have you learned about yourself? I invite you to take these next two weeks and check in with yourself. Are you in a place where you can say that you are PROUD and CONTENT with what you have done during this time of social distancing? What has it been like if you are in a household that both incomes were put on hold? What is it like to be in a home with one person considered essential and the other nonessential? How are your relationships? If you live alone, how have you coped?

I would also like us to take a look beyond humanity and see what this pause has done for the Earth and all of our friends that live on it. Have you seen the ways in which you as an individual have been living in an unsustainable way? What changes might you take from this point forward? There are so many more people now growing gardens! Including myself, it was on my to-do list for the last two years! Now I am excited to see what foods I get & hope to one day have enough to share with my neighbors, family and friends.

I just want to remind everyone to look to the positive side of this change. It is here that we will find our answers. Not in the minutia of the negative thought process.

Wishing you all healthy, loving and positive thoughts.

See you when we return.
