Below we have listed the length of the service, the investment,  & the overall benefits. Please use this information when scheduling in order to best meet your goals at your visit.

A Note on Tiered Service Pricing:

Our Entry-level practitioners are talented, knowledgeable individuals looking to gain experience while building their clientele. They have been training in most modalities on our service menu & set aside time for continuing education whether that happens on location or in other areas. Our entry-level service pricing should in no way deter you from scheduling with these practitioners, instead see it as an opportunity to help shape their practice & be one of their founding clients!  Our Advanced practitioners have a few more years under their belt, a more established client list, & more cumulative continuing education. Our Expert level practitioners have several years of experience & limited availability on their schedules. While open to new clients, spaces are more limited.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Herbal Scalp Massage

  • What is to expect?

    • A typical Indian head massage treatment, usually starts with the shoulders, working into this area especially as it often holds a lot of tension. The upper back may also be massaged by working around the shoulder blade. Following this, flowing motions will move up the neck massaging and stretching to relieve any stress and tension. Finally, the scalp is then massaged along the acupressure points on the head, and in non-corporate settings, followed up by the forehead and the area around the eyes. The upper back and arms can also be massaged depending on the techniques being used. Though we follow a more integrative approach to ensure a seamless, intuitive massage. â€‹

  • What should I wear?

    • Come expecting to be comfortable. We do ask that you remove items from the waist up. You will be professionally draped and cozy under a warm blanket on our heated tables. You should also expect to leave with oily hair, so bring a hair tie or wrap for after the service. â€‹

  • A few interesting facts in regard to Indian Head Massage and our Herbal Scalp Massage treatment.
    • Soothes the sinuses - as well as being great for headaches, Indian head massage is a great way to reduce sinus trouble for when you have a cold.
    • Refreshes tired eyes - we all spend too much time staring at screens nowadays, and Indian head massage is one way to ease eye strain. Massaging around the eye and into the temples loosens the muscles around your eye sockets and can help them feel rejuvenated and refreshed.

In India, head massage is also frequently part of wedding and birth traditions and rituals.
  • Can we diagnose ailments?

    • No. As licensed massage practitioners, we are not able to diagnose or cure medical conditions.
