A Note on Tiered Service Pricing:

Our Entry-level practitioners are talented, knowledgeable individuals looking to gain experience while building their clientele. They have been training in most modalities on our service menu & set aside time for continuing education whether that happens on location or in other areas. Our entry-level service pricing should in no way deter you from scheduling with these practitioners, instead see it as an opportunity to help shape their practice & be one of their founding clients!  Our Advanced practitioners have a few more years under their belt, a more established client list, & more cumulative continuing education. Our Expert level practitioners have several years of experience & limited availability on their schedules. While open to new clients, spaces are more limited.

Frequently Asked Questions

More Questions?
  • How often should you schedule a massage?

    • This is something that is best assessed with your practitioner at the time of your appointment. This is based on your wellness goals, level of pain, & response of the tissue during your treatment. Another important factor is whether or not you are doing the work at home! Your massage practitioner will be able to give you stretches, exercises, & suggestions to help you help yourself!

    • An important question to ask yourself is, "Am I comfortable with where I am right now?" If the answer is yes, then our general recommendation is to schedule once a month. If the answer is no due to physical or emotional discomfort, it is recommended (depending on the length of service) to schedule more frequently. Working weekly or biweekly until the work done by both your massage practitioner and yourself allows you to schedule monthly.

  • Do we offer couples massage?

    • The short answer is, no. We do not offer couples massages, however, we can try to find two openings with two different therapists at the same time. Your massages will be performed in different treatment rooms.

      • Why not? Well, traditionally, just like with any other modality, there is a purpose and intention. A couple's massage was meant to be more than just two people receiving a massage at the same time in the same room. A couples massage is meant to be a shared experience, with coordinated massages beginning & ending at the same time. The flow of the massages is meant to be the same in order to connect energetically during your treatment. It is important that therapists work well together while having a mutual understanding of the goal and intention of other services offered.

      • The benefit of each of you coming together but enjoying your treatments in separate rooms is the ability for you to each relax & receive customized treatments.

  • Is it possible to switch massage practitioners?

    • Absolutely! Whether you are just wanting to experience a different provider, or your last one didn't seem like the perfect fit, we do not hold any resentment or animosity toward our clients or fellow practitioners. In fact, we encourage our clients to experience different providers and we often refer our clients to our colleagues. Your service is about you, not about us. Please feel comfortable making adjustments as necessary.

  • What should you expect during your treatment?

    • Your massage or bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Your session will be conducted by a professional who has received proper training, often in a variety of techniques. Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own comfort. The practitioner will leave the room while you undress, relax on the table, and cover yourself with a clean sheet. You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.

  • What should you do during your treatment?

    • Make yourself comfortable. The practitioner will either gently move you or tell you what is needed throughout the session (such as lifting your arm). Many people just close their eyes and completely relax. Others like to talk during their session. Feel free to ask the practitioner questions about massage and bodywork in general or about the particular technique you are receiving.

  • How do you schedule a service with us?

    • We try to make this as easy as possible. We offer online booking 24/7 through any of the booking links on almost every page. When you schedule online you will be asked to create an account with our booking software. Once you request your preferred date & time you will be required to input a debit or credit card number to hold your appointment. Please refer to our cancellation policy on almost every page, but can be found here on our FAQs page.

  • On that note, why don't we accommodate walk-ins?

    • Unfortunately, we can not accommodate walk-ins for services. We are, and always have been, by appointment only.
